Custom Text Customization Policy

By submitting your custom text for production, you agree to the following terms, conditions, and legal disclaimers. HERITAG reserves the right to cancel and refund any order that does not comply with these guidelines.

1. Trademark and Intellectual Property Compliance

You retain full legal responsibility for the text you submit.
  • User Warranty: You certify that your custom text does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including registered trademarks, brand names, corporate slogans, band names, sports teams, or protected media quotes.
  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HERITAG from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from trademark infringement claims caused by your submitted text.

2. Content Guidelines and Right to Refuse Service

We strive to maintain a respectful and safe platform. We do not print text that promotes harm or discrimination.
  • Prohibited Content: We strictly prohibit text containing hate speech, explicit profanity, defamatory statements, graphic violence, or harassment targeted at individuals or groups.
  • Automated & Manual Review: Orders are subject to automated filtering and manual review. HERITAG reserves the sole right to reject and cancel any order containing text deemed offensive or inappropriate, without prior notice.

3. Customer Typos, Spelling, and Grammar

We print exactly what you type.
  • Accuracy Waiver: HERITAG is not responsible for spelling mistakes, typos, grammatical errors, capitalization choices, or punctuation errors made by the customer.
  • Final Approval: Please review your text carefully in the preview box before finalizing your purchase. Once an order is submitted to production, it cannot be edited, changed, or canceled.

4. Layout, Formatting, and Font Disclaimers

To ensure the highest print quality, our production team may make micro-adjustments to the text layout.
  • Sizing and Spacing: Text size, character spacing, and line breaks may be slightly adjusted by our team to fit the specific printable area of your chosen item.
  • Font Type Variance: The digital preview on your screen is an approximation. Variations in font weight, thickness, and stylistic curves may occur during the physical printing process. HERITAG is not responsible for font choices that the customer deems illegible or visually unsatisfactory in the final printed product.
  • Font Availability and Licensing: If font customization options are not provided at the time of your order, HERITAG reserves the right to select and use standard, universally compatible font styles (such as Arial, Helvetica, clean sans-serif variants, or similar) to fulfill your order. We cannot accept external font files or custom typography requests.
  • Color Variance: Font colors displayed on digital screens may vary slightly from the physical printed product due to monitor calibration settings and material textures.

5. Returns and Refunds Policy

Because custom products are made unique to you, they cannot be resold.
  • All Sales Final: All sales on customized text items are final.
  • Exceptions: Refunds or replacements will only be issued if the physical product arrives damaged, defective, or if the printed text does not match the exact spelling submitted in your original order receipt.

6. European Union (EU) Order Restrictions & Right of Withdrawal

Due to regional regulatory requirements, our store enforces specific order policies for customers located within the European Union (EU) zone:
  • Custom-Only Mandate for the EU: We do not accept or fulfill standard, non-customized orders destined for the EU zone. Customers shipping to an EU address must apply custom text to their items. Any standard (non-customized) orders placed with an EU shipping destination will be automatically canceled. (Customization remains completely optional for all customers outside the EU).
  • Exemption from the Right of Withdrawal: Because all fulfilled EU orders are strictly custom-made to your unique text specifications, they fall under the legal exemption of Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive. The standard EU 14-day "cooling-off" period and right of return do not apply to these purchases.
  • Finality of EU Purchases: Once production begins, EU orders cannot be canceled, modified, or returned for a change of mind. Returns or replacements for EU deliveries will only be processed if the physical item arrives damaged, defective, or if the printed text does not match the exact spelling submitted at checkout.
